Frequently asked questions.
Short answers to the questions we hear most from travel agencies, operations teams, advisors, and travel-tech partners.
The product
How does SayTrip capture conversations?
SayTrip can record conversations directly through the app or process existing audio files. If your phone system already records calls, we can review an integration so recordings can be processed automatically. For advisors, the conversation flow stays as close as possible to their existing workflow.
What happens after a conversation?
SayTrip analyses the recording in the background and structures the relevant information across three layers: conversation, trip, and traveller. New conversations create or update existing profiles automatically — making customer knowledge usable in the SayTrip interface or connected systems.
Do we need an existing CRM to use SayTrip?
No. SayTrip can be used on its own, with profiles, search, and the advisor workspace inside the SayTrip interface. If you already use a CRM or other tools, SayTrip can enrich those systems with structured conversation context.
What languages does SayTrip support?
SayTrip works in fourteen languages today: English (US, UK, India), German, French (France and Canada), Italian, Spanish (Spain and US), Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and Simplified Chinese. It also handles dialects — SayTrip works with how people actually talk, not just clean, textbook speech.
What about email and WhatsApp?
Today, SayTrip focuses on calls and in-person advisory conversations. Additional communication channels such as email and chat will be added gradually and are intended to extend the same intelligence layer.
How is SayTrip different from a call-recording or sales-intelligence tool?
Traditional sales-intelligence tools are built for linear B2B sales processes: pipeline, deal, close. Travel advisory works differently. Customer relationships are recurring, often household-based, emotional, and long-term. SayTrip is therefore built around conversation, trip, and traveller profiles that become richer over time.
What’s the onboarding effort for our advisors?
The effort is designed to stay low. Advisors continue having conversations as usual — by phone, video, or in person. The biggest change happens after the conversation: relevant information is already structured instead of having to be manually written up.
What happens if an advisor leaves the company?
Customer knowledge stays with the agency. Profiles, travel history, and conversation context are no longer tied only to individual advisors, but remain available to authorised teams.
Access, pilot & integrations
How can I get access to SayTrip?
SayTrip is currently in its pilot phase. We’re onboarding selected travel agencies that want to test and develop the product with real advisory workflows.
Apply for the pilotWhat does the pilot include?
Pilot partners receive access to the product, personal onboarding, ongoing support, and — where relevant — integration support for existing tools. Scope, team size, and timeline are agreed together.
Which travel-tech systems does SayTrip integrate with?
We prioritise integrations based on the systems our pilot partners already use — for example CRM, advisory, or planning tools. If a specific system matters to you, we’ll discuss it during the pilot conversation.
Does SayTrip work with travel-tech partners?
Yes. SayTrip can act as a conversation and context layer for travel-tech platforms — for example, enriching CRM, planning, or marketing systems with structured traveller intelligence.
Talk to us about integrationsPrivacy, consent & trust
How does consent work?
Before a recording starts, the traveller is told why the conversation is being captured and how it improves the advisory experience — for example, better recommendations and less repetition next time. If consent is not given, the conversation is not recorded.
See trust & complianceWhat if a customer does not want to be recorded?
Then the conversation is not recorded. Advisors can still add relevant information manually, so SayTrip can also be used as a structured knowledge layer without a recording.
How is data protected?
Conversation data is processed with encryption and managed through clear access controls. SayTrip is designed for use by European travel companies and supports GDPR-compliant processes.
